THE DEVIL AND THE BLUE SEA
Between the tempter's whispered lies,
And the ocean's soothing, endless skies,
I stand, torn, and lost in the tide,
The devil's fire, the sea's calm inside,
Tugging me, pulling me, which way to go,
A heart divided, with nowhere to flow,
Waves crash, the darkness draws near,
The siren's call, my soul's deep fear,
In this struggle, I'm lost at sea,
Searching for a beacon, a light to be,
To guide me through, to set me free,
And find my peace, in calm or stormy sea,
The waves keep rolling, the winds keep howling,
My heart's a battlefield, with no victor crowning,
I clench my fists, and try to decide,
Will I succumb to darkness, or let the ocean be my guide?
The devil whispers 'yield', the sea says 'be strong',
In this battle, my soul's the prize, where I belong.
The stars above, a twinkling show,
A celestial map, to help me go,
Through the choppy waves, and the darkest night,
I'll follow the light, and make it to the light,
The devil's voice, a fading whisper now,
As I claim my strength, and take the helm somehow,
The sea's vastness, a reflection of my soul,
A journey inward, to make myself whole,
The waves crash strong, but I'll learn to ride,
And in the silence, I'll find my inner tide,
I'll rise above, the waves' wild sway,
And chart my course, come what may,
The ocean's depths, a mystery to explore,
A journey within, to find my true core,
In the stillness, I'll hear my heart's voice,
And choose the path, that leads to my choice,
The devil may tempt, the sea may roar,
But I'll stand firm, and ask for more.
FLYING WITHOUT FEATHERS
I took to the skies, though I had no wings
Flying without feathers, where the brave heart sings
The winds they howl, the storms they rage
But I'll soar on, through the uncertain stage
With every beat, my heart takes flight
I'm chasing the sun, in the dark of night
I'm finding my wings, in the fall
Learning to fly, without feathers at all
The air is thin, but I breathe it in
I'm a bird without wings, but my soul begins
To rise above, the ground below
I'm finding my rhythm, in the wind's slow flow
I'm defying gravity, with every move I make
Flying without feathers, I'm breaking the fake
I'm finding my voice, in the silence loud
I'm flying high, without a single crowd
I'm carving my path, through the clouds so white
I'm leaving my fears, in the morning's light
I'm not a bird, but I'm learning to glide
Flying without feathers, I'll take the ride
The sky's the limit, but I'm reaching higher still
Flying without feathers, that's my thrill
I'm feeling alive, with the wind on my skin
Flying without feathers, I'm winning within
I'm dancing on air, with steps untold
I'm making my mark, on the canvas of gold
I'm a rebel with wings, though they're not mine to wear
Flying without feathers, I'll show the world I care
I'm breaking the mold, I'm shattering the glass
Flying without feathers, I'm finding my own blast
I'm chasing the stars, I'm reaching for the night
I'm flying without feathers, and it's feeling just right
I'm unstoppable now, with the wind at my back
Flying without feathers, I'm never coming back
I'm free and I'm wild, I'm flying high and true
Flying without feathers, that's what I'm made to do
When Questions Pray
When Questions Pray
I feel uncertain about so much,
the world whispers, but I can’t touch.
I gave the sea my eyes…
yet I couldn’t even watch the waves dance,
maybe they’re just shy like me.
Why does death shed so much blood,
yet no one calls him a ritualist?
Maybe he just has a messy calendar.
Pains float in the empty space,
gazing at me as I run this unforgettable race,
and I trip sometimes… like clumsy gravity is laughing.
When Lilbed sits quietly,
recalling the voices behind,
his whys still get shocked.
He has an endless summer of questions,
just seeing and never speaking,
but questioning nature: why death… why pain…
why the tears nobody notices?
There are questions I still want to understand,
the ones that keep me awake at night,
the ones I whisper to the ceiling fan,
yes, even it judges me silently.
But if you can answer me,
bridge closer to these wandering thoughts,
or at least toss me a wink,
so I know the universe has a sense of humor too.
HEART NEEDS HEART ❤️❤️❤️
A heart needs a heart to beat,
Mine's searching for a love to meet...
In your eyes, my soul finds rest,
Heart needs a heart, and I've found best.
With every pulse, I feel your name,
Love's the rhythm that I can't tame.
In your touch, my heart finds home,
Together beating, we are never alone.
You fill the spaces, empty and grey,
With colors vibrant, love's here to stay.
My heart needs yours, it's plain to see,
Together forever, that's the love for me.
In whispers night, I hear your voice,
A gentle breeze that makes my heart rejoice.
Your smile's my sunrise, your love my day,
With you, my heart has found its way.
In your arms, I find my place,
A haven from life's stormy space.
Your love's the anchor, strong and true,
With you, my heart beats just for you.
Love's the thread that weaves our fate,
A bond so strong, it can't be late.
In your heart, I find my song,
Together our love will keep us strong.
You light the fire, that burns in me,
A flame of passion, wild and free.
With every kiss, my love grows more,
In your love, I am where I adore.
Our hearts entwined, a perfect dance,
In love's sweet rhythm, we take our chance.
Forever with you, is where I'll stay,
My heart needs yours, come what may.
LOVE OVERSHADOWED BY PAIN
Love's warm embers, once aglow,
Now smoldering beneath the weight of pain and wrought.
Dreams deferred, whispers unspoken low,
Partners turned foes, in silence, love's lost.
Shadows of what was, haunt the night,
Echoes of laughter, now a distant fight.
Promises broken, like autumn leaves,
Love's once-open path, now choked with weeds.
In empty halls, memories linger on,
A love that's lost, yet still, a bond remains, though frown.
What went unsaid, now forever lost,
In the silence, love's whispered 'what if...?'
Time moves on, but hearts stay still,
Trapped in the past, where love's thread did unravel.
The future they planned, now a stranger's tale,
In the mirror's gaze, a shadow of love fails.
Once intertwined, now separate ways,
Lost in the gap, where 'we' became 'I' and 'you' stays.
Faded photos, a bittersweet reminder,
Of vows exchanged, and love that grew dimmer.
The language of touch, now foreign and cold,
In the space between, love's embers grow old.
In the hollow of a heart, a space remains,
Where love once lived, now only sorrow reigns.
And though it's over, the ghost remains,
A bittersweet reminder of love's fragile chains.
In forgotten closets, dreams collect dust,
Hopes and promises, turned to rust.
The echoes of what could've been,
Haunt the corridors, where love once had a den.
And in the stillness, a question lingers on,
'What went wrong, and where did love go wrong?'
The answer lost, in the noise of pain,
Leaving only sorrow, and a love in vain.
In the end, all that's left is a sigh,
A whispered goodbye, to a love that's died.
The rest is silence, a quiet night,
Where love's last whisper, fades into the lights.
